Natural cowhide leather with a matte grain with an orange peel structure, 100% natural. The top layer is gently embossed, thanks to which its delicate structure is preserved and natural features are visible on the surface. Thickness about 1.5mm. Due to the delicate finishing process, it is very pleasant to the touch, it does not crack or delaminate. Each natural leather layer may differ in appearance and structure. Thanks to this, the piece of furniture becomes unique. Upholstery leather may shrink and expand. Your upholstery leather will also adapt to the environmental conditions.
Cleaning tips
Furniture made from natural leather requires special care products. Occasional wiping with a damp cloth is not enough. You should already protect the leather upholstery with suitable preparations at the beginning of its use to prevent liquid absorption, color fading (in the case of pigmented leathers), grease absorption (in the case of aniline leathers), and cracking. A soft brush will also come in handy for hard-to-reach areas. 1-2 times a year, thoroughly clean and preserve the upholstery made of natural leather. Before you begin, gently vacuum the upholstery. Clean the surface with a sponge soaked in a properly prepared cleaning solution, using circular motions from seam to seam, and collect residues with a clean cloth. Once the upholstery has dried, apply a preserving agent using a white cloth, using circular motions without rubbing. Some of these agents also contain UV filters to protect against discoloration caused by sunlight. Remove fresh stains and dirt immediately, especially if they are greasy, as they can quickly penetrate the leather. First, wipe away the liquid and gather the remaining substance. Then, use a stain remover for leather and follow the instructions. Avoid rubbing the leather too hard, even if you are struggling to remove stubborn stains, as you may damage it further. Do not use products based on strong solvents (acetone, nail polish remover, etc.) to clean the leather. Also, avoid using products not intended for leather care, such as shoe polish, body cosmetics, or cooking oils. Always perform a spot test with the cleaning product in an inconspicuous area before cleaning. If your sofa develops scratches, abrasions, dry cracks, or color fading, seek advice from specialists immediately to address the issues as soon as possible. Leather furniture is too expensive to delay repairs for damages.
