Sorella is a structural upholstery fabric with an engaging and attractive appearance. It showcases a fine tweed weave with a distinctly visible, regular pattern. The material feels exceptionally smooth to the touch, complemented by a delicate fuzz on the surface, yielding a pleasant sensation of softness and cozy warmth. Inspired by retro aesthetics, it endows furniture with a unique character of balanced luxury. The fabric's surface boasts a subtle shine, and its uneven mélange coloring intrigues and captures the gaze. This demonstrates that traditional design solutions can appear fresh in contemporary interiors. Sorella is ideally suited for the upholstery of classic furniture pieces, but also large sofas with minimalist silhouettes or rounded forms, naturally fostering the creation of settings in a style of exquisite elegance. Furthermore, the fabric possesses practical qualities that markedly enhance the everyday use of furniture. It is resistant to wear and stains and is easy to clean. Any marks on the mélange surface become less noticeable, allowing you to enjoy the beauty of your furniture for an extended period.
Cleaning tips
Furniture with an upholstery made of structural fabric should be cleaned once a week or every two weeks. Gently brush it with a soft brush or use a vacuum cleaner on a low setting with a special upholstery attachment. This way, you can remove dust and dirt without allowing them to penetrate deeper. 1-2 times a year, thoroughly refresh the upholstery made of structural fabric. Wipe the entire fabric with a wet solution of a neutral cleaning agent, such as dishwashing liquid mixed with water. Then, wipe it again with a clean, damp sponge or cloth to remove any detergent residue. Allow it to air dry naturally. You can also use special upholstery cleaning products for fabric. Follow the manufacturer's instructions when using such products. In case of staining or spills, gently blot the liquid with a dry cloth or paper towel. To remove dirt from mud, ketchup, mayonnaise, yogurt, or lipstick, delicately gather the remnants of the substance. For cleaning the sofa, use gentle and neutral detergents like dishwashing liquid or mild soap, mixed with lukewarm water in the proportions: one teaspoon of detergent to two cups of water. Strong cleaners and bleaches can damage the upholstery. Avoid attempting to remove stains, especially organic ones, with hot water, as it may set the stains. Clean the soiled surface slowly in circular motions, from the outer edges of the stain towards its center. This way, you won't spread the stain further. Avoid vigorous and forceful rubbing to prevent damaging the fabric's structure. If necessary, repeat the cleaning process, widening the cleaned area around the stained spot to prevent watermarks. Before starting the cleaning, perform a spot test of the cleaning agent on an inconspicuous part of the furniture to avoid damaging the fabric. After removing the stain, let the fabric air dry at room temperature. Do not use a hairdryer or any other direct source of heat. During this time, avoid sitting on the sofa as the upholstery may deform.
